Default info on Shelby drop??

How long should it take and how difficult for me to do myself? how much if any of the front suspension is undone to do it? Ron

James posted this up on another thread. A search will also yield a lot of information.

I sis this recently. It was medium to difficult. I did need a helper a couple times to make it safe. I did one side in the morning and the other side in the evening. figure about 2-3 hours per side.

It is totally worth it thouhg.

i also installed the roller perches while i was at it.

If you want i can send you the template and the drill bit for the cost of the shipping.

ok after reading that article, it seems that it might increase the tire to fender rubbing. right now on dips in the road at high speeds the car will float a little bit and eventually rub the inside of the fender in the middle of the arch. Will this increase my rubbing even more by doing the drop? sorry, not trying to hijack your thread, but i just figured i could get it answered here and maybe help other ppl at the same time. thanks.

If anything, it will decrease rubbing by providing more negative camber when the suspension is compressed.
