Default Adding a quart of oil?

Hi,

I am very new to this world and have a 1968 coupe. I noticed that the oil level is pretty low and would like to drive it to some friends so that they can take a look. I dont wanna make any mistake, can someone show me exactly on a picture where to put oil in a 289 code A?

with the car off you remove the dipstick, check the level. if it is below the add line add half a quart. let it sit, then recheck it after about 1 min.

if its still low add another half and recheck. do this till you get to the full lin on the dipstick

if you are low on oil you dont need to drive the car
