It entirely depends and you cant be quoted a price here. Prices could range anywhere from 350.00 to 1200.00! Call around locally and ask for a quote.

My exhaust shop quoted me $450 for 2 1/2" pipes with an H or X pipe all the way back with tips and Flowmaster 40s. This is in Lubbock, TX and the guy does most of the classics around here.

You could buy a pair of Flowasters and a different exhaust kit that is just the pipe that is made for manifolds. I would go with 2 1/4 inch pipe on your car.

I got a pair of new Flows on ebay for 80 bucks a couple years ago. I think the seller was performance-curve, but performance peddler is also about the same. I don't know if it is performance-peddler or performance_peddler etc.

Im the high bidder on a pair of Flowmaster 40s with 2.5" inlets and outlets. 80 bucks right now. If it goes over that Ill stop bidding, because the shipping is 20 bucks. So 100 bucks shipped for a pair doesnt seem too bad to me. I asked a local shop through email, still waiting for them to get back to me.

btw when you convert to dual exhaust you might have to relocate your flexible brakeline in the back to make sure it's a bit away from the left hand side pipe (heat!)

Thanks for the tip. Ill look into that when I get closer to finding a shop to do the work. Still emailing and calling for quotes.

When I did my exhaust, I went to the local speed shop and bought the mufflers and ordered the Dr. Gas tailpipes I wanted and brought them to the exhaust shop and told them what I wanted and it was done.
All you need is the mufflers, get some quotes from the local shops letting them know what you want. Again I would go with at least 2 1/4" pipe with an H-Pipe as well.

Look into it, but I think the brake line relocation only applies to the 65-66 models, I could be wrong though?
