I am trying to learn what C4 tranny parts interchange. I know there is pan and case fill. the case fill uses bigger flywheel and bellhousing? Is there a good link of info anyone knows of? I bought this car in pieces and am trying to get it back together. I have a C4 minus the bellhousing and TC. I am hooking it up to 70s model 302 with 6 bolt configuration.
I have c4 from a6cyl can I jsut change it over to a V-8 if no why I havent found anything yet that explains the difference

There are some internal things that are not the same from a I6 to a V8. If I remember right the forward clutch pack has one more disc. The servo pistons might have a different spec.
