If you're talking about the power steering drop bracket, then YES you will need it. The Patriot headers I had on my '67 coupe were Tri-Y (which I consider to be long tube headers). Even with the power steering drop bracket, I had issues with the power steering hoses touching the header. I ended up doing some custom bending and rerouting of the hoses.

FWIW, I had to tweak the Z-bar to clear the headers on my 68.
