Default Power Steering Pull

So my power steering control valve pulls the high pressure and return hose against the exhaust headers burning up the hoses. Never happened before, any idea why this might be?

i got 68 mustang too and im installing power steering on it in the next few weeks when i come home from college. where in jersey are you from? im up in hunterdon county...anyway theres hose brackets that bolt somewhere and hold the hoses away from anything hot. do you have a hose bracket on the car?

Did you recently install headers? Headers & power steering don't seem to work well. Do you have a power steering cylinder lowering bracket installed? It helps.

no new headers or anything. hoses just one day decided to pull against the headers when i turn left. i was thinking of drilling into my wheel well or something and making a hose bracket myself. but im afarid that when it pulls it would rip apart my fender wall OR rip apart the hoses.
