It's Painted! GT 351 :-)
Our car is painted! Got some pics from my father today of the car in one of their storage/misc bays. The base went on great from what I hear however the clear was a different brand and went on differently then the painter expected. Got a few runs (unnoticeable in the pics) in 3 of the panels. I asked them to use it so I'm not that upset really. However...
This means they will be fixing those runs and doing a complete wet sand and buffing for free! The body will be done next week and then transported back to our garage. The other panels will be done and stored at their shop until we need them. Suits me fine as my storage has almost run out.
Cant wait to see it in 2 weeks!
Also got my Currie diff today with the TrueTrac and 3.25 gears for our 9+ rear though no pics.

I'm installing a Vintage Air Heat and A/C unit in the car which does not require the cowl vents. Our original cowl was rusted through so we replaced it with a new upper and lower cowl. Both inside openings were closed off and the top vents covered and smoothed over to completely seal off the cowl from rain, snow, debris etc. Also I personally like the look of it smoothed over.

LOL my wife just burst into laughter over the "green with envy" comment. She also thought it was gorgeous when she saw it first. Another 2 weeks and I'll be back at it. She has to wait until July to see it in person which is when I hope to have it mostly finished.. at least on the road.
