all good all good. I'm lacking a bit of power or I just didn't rev it high enough.
But that doesn't bother me for the moment. i'll find it.
I'm delighted to say she didn't loose any liquids from what i can tell now. I'll checkon the rad when she's cold again. she has no stumbles, jitters or similar. no matter if cruising in idle (traffic jam), just off idle part or full throttle. all good. happy days ... finally I can drive that car again. I was very wary of any rattles but calmed down when after 30 miles everything seemed to be still on the car :-]

Good news!

How high did you rev it? We pretty much have the same setup and I do not lack of power at all! I really feel it when I rev to 4-5.5K.

Did you drive it gently or did you drive it normally?

Did you feel any stumble? Hesitation? You give me hope

What differs from me is the cam (should not matter) and the carb.

you don't need much of a hope. your engine is running fine just taht you have the timing or carb setup wrong :-) don't worry. you should be able to sort that without needing to buy any parts

here's a few proper pics of her now ... never got time to give her wash though

we have similar set ups and i fuked up on the tranny. actually mine leaked out all the tranny fluid, now i have the tranny out and just got my new seal. I inspected the old seal it looks fine, i think my leak came from the transmission coolant hoses as its full of gunk underneath is as you can see in my previous thread. ill post a few pics for some opinions later.

good job Kalli, drive her down to cyprus when you know it wont overheat. leave now b4 summer kicks in and gets too hot.
