Default I went and got the parts today. Holy crap is my wife pissed!

Well, I went and started hauling parts from the convertible project I found. The guy told me "it's all or none". I started laying the parts out on pallets in the driveway to see what I had. The trips never stopped. I had to recruit a friend to help. A lot of stuff is worthless but there are some good usable items. All I know is there is one car in boxes and a lot of new sheet metal. I will probably get the convertible and the donor car next week. I have to go outside and get the camera from the truck and load them onto photobucket before I post here. The wife wants to know when the hell is this stuff going to be put up. I have to add on to the shed out back tomorrow.

LOL I haven't had that issue since our car *IS* for the wife! Its a 41 year old body and everything else is NEW! She has been quite understanding. Since I started it our neighbors for some reason keep saying its like Christmas every week at our place lol.

I hope she understands just as much next year when I start my dream car.. a Shelby Cobra! I'm looking to head off to Shelbyland to order one of their CSX 7000 aluminum body 427 Cobras!

Mustangs are great but the A/C Cobra FTW! Sorry...

I uploaded all the pics I took today. Mind you all these parts have been sitting in boxes for years and are all dirty and dusty. Not to mention they were never cleaned to begin with. There are two trailer hitches. Believe it or not they are stamped FoMoCo with part numbers. There are a ton of small parts in the boxes that are not visible as well.
Here are the pics.

When I first met my wife I was building a 1954 Studebaker streetrod and living in a townhouse with a small one bay garage. I had the hood, fenders, doors, and all the glass in the livingroom. She was not impressed, however it did break her in right and now she expects anything!

Good luck with it, you got a great deal!
