Help with a decision. 5.0 efi or carb in a 65?

im thinking about doing the same swap. and let me tell you. Craigslist.org is amazing. sell the speed density and pick up a MAF setup. theres even people selling the GT40s like there going out of style on there. if you cant find it there then somethings wrong you might have to make a little bit of a trip but youll get what you need.

I'm broke and going insane, thanks to craigslist. In a week I've picked up 2 cars and that was after countless hours and phone calls including one embarassing one. I was in the driveway of the Vic owner's and called to tell him where I was only to be talking to another guy I had turned down on another offer. Oops! Wrong number! Stupid phone... Anyway, craigslist rocks for this stuff.

not trying to hijack the thread but im planning on doing the efi 5.0 swap and had a few questions, can yall tell me the pros/cons of the efi vs carbed, i know efi will be more street driver friendly but right know mine is speed density... can yall lead me in the right direction on how to convert this to mass air, btw i have the harness and computer from a fox body that had the 5.0 with speed density
