Default New wheels and tires, now front right wheel grinds??

Hello, I sure hope someone can give me some help. I just put on a brand new set of wheels and tires. Tires are 205/70-14 BFG's. Wheels are 14x7 styled steel wheels. Now for some reason, the front right wheel is making a grinding sound while driving. I notice that when I lightly step on the brake while driving, the noise stops. Once I take my foot off of the brake, it starts again. It is not a constant noise, but a noise that occurs once the wheel reaches a certain point while it is turnining. So it kinda goes "da da da da da" instead of just daaaaaaaaaaa. LOL! Anyways, I suspect that it is probably brake related if it stops when I step on the brakes. Does anyone here know exactly what this could be and what I can do to correct it? Thanks for all the help!

You might have to jack the car up and move the tire with your hand. Checking to see where, what is hitting or rubbing. I also thought that it could be something related to your brakes since it stops when you step on the brake pedal.

how are your front wheel bearings?

they might need to be adjusted it could be that when the brakes arent being pressed that the hub is angled slightly and it is allowing something to rub

and when you depress the brake it aligns everything

My wife's PT cruiser was making a grinding noise when stopping a while back and at first I thought it might be a brake related issue but turned out it was a bad wheel bearing.

lift the car, check the wheel bearings. there shoould be no movement in our out. when turning the wheel no grinding no matter if you push or pull while turning the wheel.

is it less when you corner to left or right ?

problem might be brake related.
Is it from front or back?
Do you have discs or drums?
take apart and check for
