The 65/6 repop hoods are usually very nice and should work fine. I use them all the time.

I know I am new here, but I was recently told by a reliable Mustang restorer that the original tooling pieces are sometimes a lot more way off. He said the dies get old and worn so the panels need major shaping to make them fit. In this case he said original tooling isn't always better.
