I think the black wheels look good and if you already the have both sets you can just change it up.

Chances are very good she will take the black set and I will put the other set on our 69.
A am surprized no one has asked the size of them? The grey wheels came off our 06 Mustang and the black wheels are aftermarket. Both are 17" with normal 05+ backspace and offset. In the pics both sets of tires are 225x45x17 with the black wheels sporting BFG KDW2 and the grey wheels sporting Pirelli Winter carving (studded) mounted on my wife's 06 Convertible Mustang "just in case we have to drive it".

Very cool. Are you going to the Midas Muffler car show on Sunday? There is also the Kool Kruise on Sat. It ends at the track with a run what you brung. I probably will be in Fairbanks but I'm not sure yet. My trip has already been postponed a week. I hope I can make it.

the wheels and stance look great. dont you have to have some sort of adapter to fit new model wheels on. what is the difference in back spacing. i am asking because my o1 has the bullit wheels that i would like to try and fit.

I will measure to be sure but I believe I am running 1.25 spacers using the stock 06 Mustang wheels. BUT since you are going to use pre 05 wheels I believe you need the 1" spacers as the wheels are different between those Mustangs. And yes I did have to roll the finder lip for clearance up front but these tires have a 'square' shoulder or edge where the tread meet the sidewall.

It's the Midas in Palmer. Check the 49th State Street Rodders website for the schedule.
