Smile Well it's off to the paint shop

Just a couple of tease pics as I was taking my wife's baby to out to the body shop to fix the bit of rear fender lip rust and get it painted.

Here is the old beater pulling the nice ride!

NO were not running two different color wheels! We are just seeing what wheel/tire combo we are going to go for once it painted.

Should be finished by the end of the week!

Yes Same color. (Acapulco blue) I'll let the wife decide which wheel she likes after it's been painted.

But Temoffroad, I assume you doing yours yourself ... I'll pay someone to keep ME from ruining it!

I think the black would look good with the Acapulco color.

i am doing all the body work myself and the primering just not sure about the paint yet. it has been about 5 years since i have painted a car. the car is a 66 with 112k miles that was one owner garage kept so other than the usual few places on fender it is straight and clean. but it seems like it steel is taking forever.

1966? Isn't that a 67?

I love the color. I think the back wheel option is by far the best.

lunarweasel I think you got mixed up a bit YES my wifes car is a 67, tempoffroad has a 66 that he's been working on.
As for the quick turn a round well we'll see! It's the buddy rate and SOMETIMES you get what you 'wait' for!!

Yes I agree IF I was choosing it would be the black wheels also, but I'm going to try and stay neutral and allow her to pick.

I like the silver/argent wheels better, but I might change my mind after its painted.
