Default Mustang 2 Suspension

Hey all, I've been absorbing all the great information like a sponge from the shadows, but now I have a question and I figure you'll all have the best information for me.

Everyone is raving about the Mustang 2 front end set-up, and it looks awesome, but $2,300 is a little steep for me. I found a '75 mustang in a yard and the people are willing to part it out. Can I take the front suspension and weld it into my car, or is there so much fabrication that it will just be worth to go out and spend the money on a new one?

Thanks all!

Jesse

I'm sure you "could" do that but dont. You're probably not going to see any benefit from replacing your suspension with a 35 year old junk yard parts. Just rebuild the old suspension. There are enough aftermarket parts available that you can just bolt on and perform just as well or better than the MII suspension. Only reason I would go with a MII is if I needed the room in the engine compartment.

Don't do it. It will look like SH#t with that old stuff in there. I put the Heidt's kit in our's. here are all the picture of the build I have been doing. If you go to the first few pages you will see the suspension installation. I just wish I would have spent the extra money and got the coilovers in the front.

Your replacing a dried turd with a fresh one in the end its still a turd. Why not just replace your springs shocks and rebuild your control arms, Its not that to hard and not a lot of money if you do it all.
