Red face Should I...or Should I not... Take the body off the frame

So, heres the deal. the car is gutted on the inside.

Except the steering column is still installed. rebuilt tranny and engine and rear end are also installed.

I want to paint the body, but is it too late to take the body off to clean and paint the frame???

and Exactly how much work is envovled to get the body off of the frame?? and how much to put it back on the frame.

and What would you do ???

Thanks in advance

The front and back frame do not come off. It's a unibody. I took everything off including the doors and trunk, hood. Once everything is off, I should have painted but got rush so I had to reassemble it to drive. If you have the time, do it now. Good luck

Yeah, good ol unibodies. The car IS the frame....watch 'er twist. Subframe connectors ftw.

Ferrari really has it figured out though, with carbon fiber monocoques.

You need to put the tools down and read some books before touching the car again.

People aren't born knowing a Mustang is a Unibody... we all learn that at some point. In fact every one of us learn something new about these cars all the time.

Let's cut the guy some slack.
