Yeah, I like set and forget as well. Pick the setting that gives the best balance of handling and off the line traction, like a factory sports car, and then not fuss with it. I'll bet if you played with it a bit more you could get it to hook up better. And the neat thing about a 3 link is that not only does it handle well, but on corner exit you can give it a bit more throttle because of the extra forward bite.

When the S197's debuted in Grand Am racing in 2005(the GT class FR500C), a lot of people were making horse carriage suspension jokes about their solid rear axle setup, until they won the season and took the manufacturer's championship(2005 and 2008)...and the driver's...and the team. The FR500C's took 1st and second in their very first debut races(2004). The 3 link has proven to be a more than capable suspension on the race track.
