Firestone Wide-Ovals
I have a chance to get a set of 4 hardly used Firestone Wide Ovals for $125. They were made in 1999 as a reproduction of the ones from the 60s/70s, so they're not old. Says they're in excellent shape, etc.
My question is would I even be upgrading from BFG Radial T/As? My T/As look bitchin but lack any real performance, so would I be in a good spot with these WOs, or should I wait and get a better tire?
And my front rims are 15x7, rears are 15x8... would these in size F60-15 fit both size rims?
Thanks fellas

My friend, I would ask you to pass on the tires! I watched a report on TV about NEW tires that have been on a shelf for more than 5 years. NOT GOOD! They said it was the cause for those SUV rollovers. Coker Tires still MAKE the Firestone red ovals brand new. I would suggest them than trust the older tires. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE YOU! I know the F60's will fit the 7" but might be a little small for the 8". Good luck

I was thinking the exact same thing. It's up to you. Just making you aware.

I agree. Stay away from old tires.
I love the TAs. I think the look is spot on for Muscle cars. I have them on my car and they do well. I can also light them up and its not expensive to replace them if need be.
