Default Recommended places to start with Shelby

Pop has had this in his garage since 1982.. It's about 70% complete on a restoration (don't mind rims, he's got 10 spokes not installed).

From homework so far, it's suppose to be dark green with an automatic... The guy he bought it from put in a top loader and painted it black. Drive train is complete except for accessories.

Pop is wanting to start working on it. He's lost and my intenet playing hasn't helped too much yet.

Anyone here know of some good resouces? Anyone here a Shelby expert?

Check into Glazier's. They have been doing parts and restoration since the original owners were trading them in, and they'll get you the right stuff and help you with your project, since they restore these cars and can actually answer your questions.

Beautiful selection of cars. "Pops" is a very lucky man with a lineup of mustangs like that.

Just me, but I AM NOT AT ALL impressed with bob perkins. No offense to this forum or anyone on here, but this is where you can find out what you need to know form MCA card holding judges. I have the registry so if you have some starter questions I can look up the unit number and tell you things like the original owner, where it sold, equipment features, and sometimes the last known owner was and maybe even an old photo. PM me if you want.
