2+2GT, I'm having a hell of a time installing the 7534, is there a trick or something? My pedal set is completely out of the car but I still can't stretch it enough to install.

Hook the spring to something solid and use a long screw driver to stretch it. Then stack washers between the coils until you have it the right length, install it, then pull the washers with some plyers.

Jeepers!

You'll have to put it in a vise, this is actually easier in the car.

1) Remove the up limit stop (67-68 requires a slightly different technique)

2) Raise the pedal up past the fully "up" position

3) Install the spring and spring end bushings

4) Swing the pedal to the depressed (on the floor) position. You'll have to hold it with two hands to do this.

5) Install the up limit stop

6) Swing the pedal to the up (against the stop) position. You'll have to hold it with two hands to do this.

Dead easy, and you won't have to mess around with washers, spring tension, etc.
