On the road after 2 years
Well I cant figure out how to have the pictures come up automatically as I dont have a tool bar in the forum like to tutorial shows but here are some shots. It has been alot of work with electrical issues, custom parts, paint and general fitment. The wife now has a beautiful muscle car and she beams everytime she drive it. Her grandmother was the original owner. I also tend to sneak it out whenver possible. We are pleased with the total outcome and have now about 75 miles on it. We will be taking it out tonight to a small car show locally.
I added elec door, trunk, alarm, MSD in fender, gauges, sys drop, 9 inch rear discs and and custom Magnaflow exhaust. I added 3.5 inch tips to fill the valance and welded a header adaptor where it had to make the transition around the gas tank. Any one know why the tank is not centered?. Anyhow it gives it a nice look and sound.
I thought by the charts the fronts would be OK with 4.5 inch offset on 17's but they have rubbed. I ordered a eastwood fender roller that I may rent out to you guys after I am done. Figured it was expensive but still cheaper than what a body shop charges in california.
See ya on the road..

That looks great. Its a clean restomod. I like the interior. If you were to do it over again would you get the shelby style hood scoop? I always liked those, but was afraid after cutting up my hood and installing it, I would wish I didn't.
Its always good to hear that another one is back on the road.

The hood scoop is one piece fiberglass with metal frame. The problem is the fit is not always great and they are not real straight. We had to add about 1/16th inch to each side plus alot of body work to make it smooth. I dont regret the add and think the car looks better with a scoop. Regrets probably should have gone with 3.25 gears instead of 3.0 gears with the C-4 but after all it is the wifes cruiser.

Excellent work. It seeing cars like yours that keep me working on mine. It don't come easy, but it sure has to be sweet when you get there. Your wife has every reason to be very proud. My big question is what do you drive?
