Do You Really Need The Shorter T5 Yoke?
#12
It is made by Coleman and I bought it from Street or Track for $299

It is made well with clean welds
The local DS shop wanted 150 to shorten/rebuild my old one and 475 to custom build an aluminum DS.
Shaun was very helpful at street or track.
Good Luck and Be Safe

That price did not include the slip yoke. I had bought one with the T5 from a local guy here off of Craigslist.
The old DS was too long by 1/4 inch and the Ujoints were missing a few needle bearings. I have followed your story Gun and decided to just bite the bullet for a new one
We did not have anything to compare it against. The coupe had been abandoned since 1978 and was not running when we bought it.

Thanks for the info I bookmarked that page. I may pick one of them up in a few months. I still haven't decided if the new slip yoke and bushing solved the problem (but I haven't had any vibration issue since then)
But for that price it looks like a great upgrade to 1310 and 3" tube.
