PM sent.

Those Roush 200's are apparently 70cc heads, which drops compression waaaay down. They'd be great for a mild 351W build, but that's too much chamber for me and I'm not into milling heads unless it absolutely needs to be done.

Search Corral for any used TEA ported heads, like Twisted Wedges or something.

I'm hesitant to use Twisted Wedge heads. They're a great idea for a lot of people, especially the fox body guys with flat top pistons, but my pistons already have standard valve reliefs and I'm running a cam with .512" lift. Not sure what the limit is on TW heads, but I've heard there are issues with the valves running into eachother with higher lift/duration. I seriously doubt I would have valve-piston clearance problems with a standard wedge head.

If you're going to buy new heads, give Jay a call first.

As far as Canfields go, they have a 170cc heads that has standard plug angles and standard port locations. They also offer a 192/195cc head that also has standard plug anlges but raised exhaust ports.

Hmm, if some of them use standard exhaust ports and plug angles, there's another set of CNC ported heads I may have to ask the owner about...

Not sure I'm going to go with another cam at this time. I'm pretty happy with my current cam setup (Comp Cams Magnum 280H w/Rhoads Lifters). I'd love a custom roller cam, but $ is definitely an issue right now.

Jay does more than just cams. He build heads with all good quality parts and at great prices. Whatever heads you'd like he can get them for you and build them.

Ah. Well, while I'd love to do that (and I'm going to bookmark that site when I get home), price is an issue. I'm looking at good used heads right now, and Canfields are looking like they're going for ~$1100. I'm sure a new set of hand ported and freshly built Canfields would run closer to $2k.

I hear you man. But not quite as much as you think.

$1395.00 Assembled. All good parts. Springs to match. No ridiculous spring upgrade needed to run any HR, SFT, HFT.
