Hello, New Member Here!
Hello,
Completely New to to the forums! I was never a member here, who was banned for spam, when i didn't even post for WEEKS! I promise i am a COMPLETELY different person than Joe67, NO RELATION WHAT SO EVER!
Funny thing is, i heard this from a friend. Joe67 was placed on POST APPROVAL, when he was selling decals in the classifieds section, when he had permission to do so from JAMESW!!!. When put on post approval, he finished his engine and wanted to post pics! NOPE! He posted them and 3 days later no show on the board, and when he next tried to log on he was BANNED for "SPAM", when he hadn't made a single post in WEEKS
Oh look at this motor! (NOT JOE67's)
PLEASE FORGIVE THE LARGE PICS! I'M WORKING ON IT
FEEDBACK!?
DOH!
And in all serious, banned or not, Joe Still needs help to get his car together,
Right now, The water pump pulley does not align with the crank pulley, ill snap a pic later...
Anyone experience this before?

LOL messing with the FNG.
I had to run a MSD small cap on my 347 to clear the air box.
I have never tried to run the h.e.i setup on a ford.
On the water pump issue if it came off it will go back on.
Common mistake is turning them the wrong way they go over the snout not stick out.

If I remember the alt rides the front grove so you need a deeper pump pulley.
I looked and they didnt say what year but there is about 3 different water pump pulleys thru the 289/ 302. it would help to know what year the crank setup is and match that year.
Mount the alt to make sure if you havent all ready try mustangs unl. or any of the online dealers for speck on those pulleys.
Thinking youll wind up changing that dist at some point never seen one on a 289 that tall before.

Welcome to the Forum new guy who has never been here before. I remember the other guy, who you are not. He was a good guy.
If you were him, which you are not, it would be good to have an old friend back.
