You have not answered my question as to what type of tires you have. When I ran bias-ply tires, my car moved around a great deal. Once I switched to radials all of that went away. That is due to how the sidewalls and tread react to uneven and non-flat surfaces. This is probably not your issue, but it is worth keeping in the back of your mind.

Coker Tire can supply bias ply tires in a wide range of sizes.

OP - what were the alignment settings that you ended up with? Did you get a print-out? I'm sort of wondering if zero or very little caster + any toe-out = wandering.

I have B.F. Goodrich radial tires. I did tighten the steering box by 1/4 turn and that solved my wandering/steering wheel slack issue! Steers great now, I'm ready to drive the wheels off it. I did switch the wheels front to back due to the tires being directional. Thanks to all that replied!

If it still pulls to one side or the other when you hit bumps(it may or may not) then you'll need a bump steer kit, it happens sometimes when you lower a car.

Thanks for the info 67, I've heard of the common bumpsteer issues. Mine doesn't seem to have that problem that I can tell. Haven't really put it through the paces yet though. I'll find out soon though, going to go for a spirited ride right off...
