Default chrome fuel pump

friend of mine has a old hot-rod with a 351 windsor. problem is that he wants to put a chrome fule pump but only the stock one will fit. he tried one from summitt racing and couldnt get it in, the fuel pump on his hot rod is to close to the steering box. now he knows that the stock one will come out and go in without any problems so does any one know of a place that makes the stock one but in chrome.

Summit, Holley, Edelbrock, they all make a chrome one for the 351W. What body does he have it in. I know when I had my Pinto with the 351W, the pump was really close to the frame so I had to run an electric.

what he has is a 1928 ****** whippet street rod. the problem is that the holley wont clear the steering box to install it, he even tried to jack the engine on that side. but a stock one will go right in so i figured a stock one that was chrome would solve his problem.
