Head gasket - 66 200ci straight 6

No I don't have a manual. I'll try to find one. And no I have not determined what it is but I figure it's not a long job so I'll do it and change the oil and such and hope it helps. I'm gonna hit as many gaskets in the set I can get in a few hours.

According to my 1965 shop manual, the max torque for head bolts on the 200 CI is 75 lb. I'm sure it's no different with the 66. I just went through a rebuild of my 200 that included a trip to the machine shop where they sleeved the cylinders and planed the block and head. After everyhing was put back together (my brother's shop did the rebuild) I noticed oil seepage around the head gasket in the area closest to the firewall. One of the old salts on the fordsix.com forum suggested that after the machining, some of the bolts might be bottoming out, thus providing a false torque reading. He suggested that I add hardened washers under all the head bolts and re-torque. After doing that, the leak stopped. You might want to consider having the proper washers handy, just in case, or use them anyway as a preventative measure.

Thanks for that. Any idea what size I should be getting for washers? And since I don't have time to wait, can someone scan and send me pages from a service manual that deal with replacing the head gasket?
I got the head gasket set which includes intake and exhaust manifold, valve cover, water outlet, egr and valve stem seal. Should I do all of that right away or just the head gasket?
