Default Head gasket - 66 200ci straight 6

Is there a walkthrough article anywhere so I have a step by step to be sure I'm doing this right?

Doing a gasket set on a 66 200ci straight 6.

Maybe try Virginia Mustang, California Mustang, Mustangs Unlimited, NPD, Mustangs Plus, Paddock Parts, CJ Pony Parts, Dallas Mustang.

No need for new head bolts. That is maainly for the aluminum head motors with "stretch bolts",

Great thanks guys. Good to know I don't have to toss out disposable bolts. Still can't seem to find a tech article on the head gasket job.

You don't have a repair manual? It's a fairly straight forward job. Mostly want to be sure you get the correct torque values...which is in the manual.

So, you determined that the smoke is from the head gasket?

I think its odd that I have a Haynes book for 65-73 I believe is the years it covers for Mustangs, but it is V8 only. I don't really get that. I have never seen a book that said it was for I6.

Check the index. All the ones I have, chapter 2 is subdivided into the different engines.
