Those are some nice wheels, can you tell me what brand and or part # they are? Im blacking out my 67 Coupe, a total black out with chrome parts powder coated black. Anyhow, those wheels would look sweet. Any info on them would be appreciated.

Im planning on going with 17x8 with 4.5 or 4.75 backspacing.

Thanks again!

hey SuperMario, they are fr500 wheels I bought them from AmericanMuscle.com they are for 99-04 mustangs. Im using vintage venom's Brake kit that requires to use newer mustang or aftermarket wheels,
they only make these wheels with in a 9" width you can mount them on your car but it will require you to use spacers or wheel adapters

wheels sizes are:

18x9 with 245/40's
18x10 with 275/40's, tires are BFGoodrich Sport Comp2 tires. I will be posting my built thread in a lil bit.

Oh ok, thanks for the info. I liked the wheels but I dont want to use spacers or adapters. My 67 came with factory front disc brakes, so Im going to keep them. Thanks for the info. You have a nice Mustang.

I dont like using spacers either, its one of the reasons I went with VV. you could go with raceline wheels, they look like fr500s but they cost a pretty penny.

thanks for the compliments!

This is an old sticky but I hope someone is monitoring because this is the topic that my question is in. I have a 67 289 coupe but somehow the wheels became 165-R70/17. My question is WHAT is the original size of the stock rims, and what could they have possibly looked like? I have the original hub caps. Does that mean the rims weren't all that special? The original hub caps won't fit on these tires, obviously because I just saw that the original tires were /14s? Boy does that seem small to me now....
