Thanks, it doesn't come close to filling the void of my 02 GT though.

Pics look great to me! Congrats on such a huge milestone! You're encouraging me to get back to work!

I'm really impressed by that quarter panel work. I'm too nervous to take that kinda stuff on myself which is why I'm glad I only had to do patches!

Thanks, I just had to nut up and do it, it wasn't going to get done by itself and we don't have the $$$ to farm it out and we want this thing driving in less then two years now.

It is really not that hard once you get into it. That is the biggest reason why I wanted to do two different installs on the car even thought I had two full quarters. One to say I could do, I did it, and it is all about the journey to the final out come.

Good luck with your project and get back at it mister. LOL!!

I decided on what I'm doing the trunk color as.

Vintage Burgundy on the wheel wells and hings, truck bed coat on the floors and sound deadener on the quarters.
I used the Rainbow paint from CJ Pony's for the Vintage Burgundy and it came out great. I ran out of paint doing the other wheel well, back floor, and hing so I had to order more.

Before....

After.....

We decided to go with the stock looking mats when the time comes to finish the trunk area off.

Oh hell yeah, I'm getting tired of this welding stuff. I want to start putting things together.

Okay after reading through, what 20, pages of work I have to say I'm amazedImpressive. I'm bookmarking this since it's in my not too distant future on my newest (actually repeat) acquisition 66 coupe. I'm still a little timid about doing exterior/body panels for fear of screwing them up bad and the whole thing looking crappy. I'll do floors, inner panels, etc.. without flinching Lynn where are you in NE PA? I'm in south Jersey just over the bridges. You going to Carlisle All-Ford?

HI, Thanks for the comps!! just jump right in on the car, it is the only way to get it done, good luck with it as it is an adventure.

I live 45 minutes North of Scranton PA up rt 81.

No, I'm not going to Fords at Carlisle this year. I want to, but I plan on going two days to SAAC 37 at Watkins Glen NY the following weekend so I had to make my decisions on where to go.

I restarted back on the passenger side TB after I started it a year and a half ago.

TB has been fitted and I started inside clean up and paint and cleaning up prep..

A little bit of rot getting cut out and a new piece will be welded back in.

TB primed inside getting ready to be welded back together before I install it.
