My lower shoulder blade has been bothering me all afternoon like something was moving in there. My wife just now pulled out two strands of wire wheel wire embedded in my back and every time I moved it pulled and hurt. I must have gotten them from rolling around on the floor putting the tranny in.

A little progress.
NSS wiring is now done and attached to NSS switch as well as torque convertor is in.
MC is loose dry plumbed and ready to go as soon as I get some fluid and find a bench bleed kit.
e brake is in.
'66 kick down cable set up is in.
Slowly getting things ready for the engine install on the 19th of this month.

Well, we just passed our 5 year anniversary of owning the car on November 1st. I can't believe it has been 5 years already.
Too be honest, I thought we would be driving this car by now, not done, but driving it.
Here we are, it just goes to show even the modest time frames will be extended. It has been a long but fun journey so far.
This years cold spring really put a damper on me getting started and I never really recovered from it in getting things done.
Here are a few updates.
Engine is now in, I forgot to take out the pilot bearing in the crank shaft and that put a screeching halt on the tranny install. I still haven't gotten the bearing out yet, I got some more things to try.
New SD glove box door is on, I threw some repop manuals in for fun. I scratched the dash trying to adjust the gb door, but it can happen even with tape to try and prevent it.
I got new custom gauges for it. I got to start looking into on how they install.
Here is for a good 5 years so far...

I got the engine fully wired, and heater hoses are on.
The carb is just mocked up for now. I got to get a carb spacer just for clearance issues with the heater hose, and fuel line.
Monte Carlo bar is now on.
This may be my last major update of this season because it is getting colder and it will be too cold to work outside.
