Just a quick scuff and painted with a little Rustoleum rattle can Industrial paint.

I'll wait a few hours for the paint to dry and maybe I can start to do the frame edges tonight.

cut up wire coat hangers and use those if you need extra places to mount the hog rings. i know sometimes those new leathers dont come with all the rods you need.

TMI seats and foam only require three rods top and bottom for material anchoring, two on the sides and one in the middle.

I got the front seats done. I messed up the back panel a little bit, that was the hardest part for me to do. The aluminum trim was more beat up then we thought when put up to the new seats, so I'll have to order more.

This was a huge step to get done.

Looks like a good solid car to start with even though some minor rust.

I've seen lots worse including mine.

The original paint on my 67 was so hard that stripper only removed the top layer.

I had to use a D/A and lots of sanding disks. Here's a picture after getting her down to bare metal and after all of the welding was done.

Keep us posted on your progress!

I remember doing our seats and it was one of the most rewarding parts of the entire car. Coming along great!
