Got a HIPO air cleaner filter for the air cleaner, I hated that purple thing that was in it.

We also got our new TMI Sport door panels today as well.

These things are absolutely gorgeous!!!

I will be cutting holes in them for the Pony interior door lights and drilling a hole for the remote mirror adjusting ****.

I added two options to the car today that it never had before..
SD trunk remote release. I never knew these cars had this dealer installed option before and once I found out about it I had to have one.

Over all the SD remote trunk release was easy and straight forward to install.

Rear seat belts

Now to get back inside and get warm.

Trunk divider and rear seat sound deadner in.

Sound deadner in, I did it when it was cold, so it cracked a in a few spots, hence the tape.

Your supposed to put the tar side down, but you do that, the mid and front parts are in back wards. It still works, but this seems to be a common manufacturing mishap from what I've been reading about it.

Started to rebuild doors.
All new Scott Drake window regulators, window rollers, Pony door latch mechanism's, door locks, Pony door handles, Pony widow cranks, and outside pull handles.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to replace the window regulators and rollers, it was pretty easy thanks to CJ Pony's install videos.
The windows now go up and down super smooth.

Sprayed down the latch guts inside and they work much better.

Polishing up chrome and stainless steel. Using 000 fine steel wool, metal polish, and a lot of buffing and it is looking pretty good so far.

Some door rust I have to take care of on the back side of the driver door. I thought about replacing the door, because it has a dent on the front and a few rust holes in the front corners, but it is it's original door and otherwise solid. A huge mouse nest did this mess. I'll keep it.

I'm guessing this large hole below the window crank is the hole for the remote mirror?

New TMI Sport door panels is test fitted and installed.

Passenger side is done and I'm fitting the driver side.
It took a lot of guts to cut into $600 door panels to install the courtesy lights, but they fit great.
If anyone is on the fence on getting these TMI sport door panels, they are great.

When they are done, I'll tear them all back apart repair and paint the doors.

I'm seriously considering tossing my custom inserts for those TMI panels. Don't get me started on that upholstery shop, lets just say there's a difference of opinion on the color and workmanship. Are those ABS plastic, no padding? I have to color mine to match my interior so I need to know what's ABS and what's padded.

They are molded ABS plastic shells completely covered in upholstery. They are padded in the middle striped section, but the rest appears not to be.
These things are built nicely.

I got the Scott Drake remote mirror toggle switch thing installed .

It came out pretty good I think.
I cannot say enough good things about these TMI Sport door panels.

Got a roll of that Peel and seal from Loews that people have using and used on the seat plate form.

I just got done getting the 1999 GT cleaned up from last season.

Dang it felt good to drive her again. I wish I could say the same for the '65...
