Ford tooling dash installed and lower window dash trim test fitted.

The dash was a pretty easy install to do.

The CJ Pony install videos have been great in doing a lot of this stuff.

I'm sure the window trim will be a bugger to put back in when the windshield actually gets put in.

Looking good!

Thats a lot of work do you sometimes get pissed off when you spend all day and it looks like you've made no progress and then realize that Ford built the whole damn car in like 35 minutes or some ridiculous number like that?

New steering wheel is in, carpet installed, I put extra carpet padding under carpet, sill panel trim fitted, kick panels fitted.
Shifter is in, and seat belts are in. I got to get another set of Shelby belts to match the one in the car, NPD ran out of this style.

Vinyl top and trim is on. The top came out pretty good for a first timer doing it. I got the driver side seam pulled off it's mark by a half inch or so. Other then that I think it came out pretty good.

Fit the seats and console in the car to see how they look overall.

OK, here is confirmation of the SD seat belt retractors hitting on the driver side trim. They are fine on the passenger side. Both seats are fully back.
Hits on the back side of trim.

It did dent up the brand new trim. I cannot sit in the car without the seat fully back and they do still hit with the seats forward, just not as bad.

Passenger side is fully fine and does not touch, the seat is fully back.

Can I say that I'm upset about the dented trim or fit of the retractors? No, not really. It still looks great when the seats are normal and it is only that brief second that you may or may not notice the dent.
