Watertight classic car radio?
#21
I payed like 100 bucks to seal up the seam leaks behind the left and right fenders and new front and rear window rubber and installation...no leaks at all.
I thought we all owned these cars so we could do the work ourselves and avoid doom
Im pretty sure the only way to seal that up is to pull the window and patch the rust holes, use a 3m bedding compound around the window rubber. Also there is a good chance that the seam joints between the firewall and the engine bay frame under the front fenders could be leaking water into the cab as well. I found that running water just in front of lower corners of the front window so it travels into that gap between the fender and the window trim will show a seam leak. The water usually collects under the dash and at the edge of the carpet by the plastic kick panels.
Good Luck
