Default Glove box install

I was missing the glove box so I bought a new one.......now how does it go in? The box itself is way bigger than the hole. I'm thinking it has to go in BEFORE the heater box and from the rear. Is that right? There is not enough room with the heater in place.

This square peg round hole thing.............

You fold it to get it through the hole then unfold it. There should be some scored places where the box folds. If you don't have a console and a/c the unfolded box can be worked in to place from the backside, but it is a pain.

I put mine in from the rear and didn't touch the heater box. I came in from the middle of the dash, then worked it over to the glove box opening. It was a pain....it would be easier to fold the box but it probably won't look as good.

i stuffed mine back there and it made it back just fine. its really tougg cardboard so i didnt crease it or anything and it looks good. unless you got one of those plastic ones.... in that case your going to have some trouble. ps my radio was insalled at the time with that removed it would have been a lot easier

Mine box is plastic and I added flocking to it. I just pushed it in from the front and it deformed, then pop! it was in.
