Brakes went out and I can't find the problem

Your seitch shouldnt have any fluid on it. Replace the seals in the distribution block shuttle.

Agreed 100%. A car should be diagnosed, not just have parts thrown at it hoping it will fix the problem.

if you are still running the original mc on a 67, I'd say change it either way. Brakes are one component where it is much better to change things BEFORE they fail on you. I had same issue with my 69 mustang ie. hard to stop had to pump brakes and didn't have any leaks I could find. Changed mine over to power discs up front and man is it ever nicer. Was not a simple job by any means but now that I have it done and installed I am sure glad I did. Car stops so much easier now and doesn't require alot of foot pressure at stop lights anymore!
