Default Master cylinder issue

So I got my 94 cobra master cylinder to complete my Cobra brake 4 wheel disk install. However, its just a little too long with my booster. Any thoughts/ I am thinking about trimming the bolts studs down so i can get it on.

Would it work to sort of shoehorn it in by assembling the booster and m/c first, then drop into place and run the bolts for the booster through the firewall? Not sure of your exact setup with the booster.
