What size nozzle for primer?

What size nozzle for primer?
My wife bought me an airgun set to paint my mustang. I've been used to using a general purpose gun for all my painting for years and this new set has 4 guns with 4 different size nozzles. It has a 1.0mm touchup, 1.3mm, 1.5mm and a 1.7mm.
Of course there are no instructions for what to use which each gun. Just instructions for mechanical and cleanup.
I assume the thicker the fluid, the larger the nozzle. So a thick coat of epoxy primer would probably use the 1.7mm? What would I use for the paint and clearcoat?
Would the 1.5mm be considered a general purpose, medium coat gun?
I assume the smaller the nozzle, the finer the spray and the more coats it might need?
Thanks!

1.7 of the 3 is what I would pick.
I have a couple of northern's $40 guns I use for priming a 1.8 for heavy primer and spraying on reduced bed liner a 2.3
Some metallics need a larger tip read the can and it normally gives a suggested tip size.

Find the tech sheet for the epoxy for their recommendation. Generally epoxy is sprayed with 1.8 tip but a 1.7 should be fine for epoxy and high build primers.
Most base and clear coats shoot well with a 1.3 tip. Air pressure is 40-50 psi at the gun and 10 psi at the tip.
The tech sheets for the paint should give you the exact answer. Paint companies spend lots of money to find what works and put it all into the tech sheets.
