Trouble starting up when car is warm n driven

which brand was it?
You could try a mini starter which may indeed solve the problem but like I said its not always sunshine and bunnies with mini starters
You could try to find a better brand of stock stater...if that's even possible
Why did you replace the old starter?

I cant blame the mini starter concept which is actually logical n will probably work for you. Im pretty sure my connections are all good n it works most of the time so i live with it, maybe its just a bad egg. I never had any issues with my stock starter . The mini starter I got from NAPA so I would think it would be fairly decent especially for that price I payed for it.
let us know if the 55 buck mini (or whichever one you go with) solves your problems.

whats the compression on your 347? I would think a stock starter would have a little harder time turning it over if you went 10:1 or higher.
To highjack this thread a lil I switched to a high torque mini starter and after the car fires the starter is still turning for a second. does not sound good but I cant find the fix?
