I was wondering if any knew a good shop that would do work on carburetor in the greater westchester ny area.

If you are just looking to have the carb reconditioned, Glazier Nolan has an excellent shop for their carbs, so you'll have a short shipping distance- they are in southeast Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia.

If there is just something out of adjustment, you may not need to even do that, just fix it on the car.

its a holley, not sure the model, its off a gt500kr, it was spewing gas out the top so its off now and if when it goes back on if its still doing it i'd like to know of a shop that could help.

Turns out the carb doesnt need any outside work because it put it back on and it ran fine.

weird. depends on where the fuel spits out, when it actually spils it outside of the carb it sounds like backfire. if it;s coming out of the boosters the float levels might have been set too high or have been stuck ... hard to tell without seeing it
