Default SSBC Comp R/S Brakes

Don't know how long these have been out but I just ran across them while flipping through a CJ Pony Parts catalog. They had no info on the CJ Pony Parts site so I went to the horses mouth.

Race
SSBC :: W120-22

Street
SSBC :: W120-23

They are listed for $695 for the "R" and $795 for the "S" but Jegs sells them for $623 for the "R" and $644 for the "S" kit.

HOWEVER, I looked at Summit and thee are on sale. $497 for the "R" and $517 for the "S" kit. I went ahead and ordered the "S" kit and figured I would post that here in case anyone was in the market.

GOOD LOOKING OUT!!! I ordered the exact same kit from Jegs three weeks ago for $642. It's been on backorder this whole time waiting on SSBC to catch up with their orders. I just canceled my order with Jegs and purchased through summit for $100 less and it ships tomorrow. They have the kits in stock. Jegs said they would reimburse me the cost after I received the item and they could confirm the price difference, but no point dealing with that. THANKS!!!

And there is my good deed for the year! Glad it helped you out man! I almost crapped my pants when the page popped up and I saw the price. Deals like these are far and few in between. Would have been even better if there was a discount code too.

Here they are:

Rotors

Dust Shields

Brackets, Pads, Lines, and Hardware

Calipers

I do wish the mounting brackets were CNC billet pieces but these should get the job done. For the price, I could not be happier.

Got them from Summit, still on sale:

I may finish them up just because I have all the parts but they will not stay on the car.

I did consider that bit the hub offset would have killed my wheel fitment.

Just a word of caution, don't go road racing with those. Cross drilled rotors = fail.

And yeah, I prefer Wilwood, excellent performance for the cost. Arguably you get the best braking for the least amount of money with Wilwood, which is why you see them on most stock cars and a lot of road and drag racing cars. Wilwood sells cross drilled rotors too, but they come with a huge fat WARNING! in giant red letters that says do not use cross drilled rotors for racing, they're for street/show use only.
