Default What would you think is a best offer on this 70?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-...a8cc7c4c#v4-36

It's local to me and I can get out this week but are there any thoughts on what is a best max bid based on the information and pictures?

Any help here is great as I am having trouble finding something local and it's hard to look in the south west for me. I may have to start finding inspectors in areas and try to go that route if I can't find local.

Thanks for any info/help that you can give.

Don

wow, under 15k. I mean, I'm not stupid in this area but I;m not a gear head either or a rest mod guy. I'm looking lately and even as far as Texas but from what I see, these are above 19k up to 30k from something that looks this nice.

Is this due to the time of year?

For me personaly, if it looks good in person, I wouldn't have a problem with 15-18K, maybe 20K (for more than 20K I'd expect a MACH 1).
Just make sure he didn't paint just over rust on some of those undercar areas.
I did notice the passenger door fitment looks a little off, so I'd check that. And is the headliner sagging?
And those side scoops would have to go (or at least be painted body color, but for me they would be gone).

I would say $20k max. It looks clean, but it's not that rare or well optioned. It's a good idea to check anything out in person because pictures can and do lie.
People who want $30k for such a car are delusional.

I like it , it looks like mine Im no pro but I was thinking up and around 20k. Looks like a real clean car. not a big fan of the extra scoops. and the 351 boss thing doesnt belong either. Not against it , just dident come that way. I think the 351 boss dident come out untill the following year

if you look at the pic with the master cylinder it is rusted and you can see the power booster is half painted half rusted and the steering shaft is rusty. so i would be looking for more rust. and or rust that has been painted over.
