I have my T5 and was curious as to what throwout bearing should be used.
The original part number or the late model part?
I am using the existing bellhousing with an adapter plate behind my 302.
The pilot bearings should be the same for a 302 regardless, correct???

When I used the adapter, I used the same one. I have since used the late model bellhousing with the cable clutch and I love it.

Yep- The bearing needs to match the release lever/bellhousing you use.
