Default Floor Pan Replacement

I don't have a classic, but I assumed you guys would be more knowledgeable in this area. I have a '91 LX that needs the driverside floor pan replaced. I have a full length replacement pan for the driverside and am ready to start cutting out the old floor. The car is currently sitting in my driveway, is there any kind of bracing I need to do to the car, or will it be OK since I am only doing one side?
Thanks.

Coupe or hatchback and you should be fine for one side.

Take lots of pictures. I think it would be interesting to see the differences between fox bodies and classics. I suspect it wouldnt be that different but it would be nice to know.

Good write up in mustang monthly--might give you some ideas of things to think about when doing yours.
