The grill is bothering me because it's not the mustang with the corral- it has the horizontal bar. Is this wrong?
Also, can anyone tell me what the emblem number means on the title?

Dunno what the "emblem number" might be, titles are usually entered by hand. My first title for my 66 fastback had, in the style box, "fast".

The 66 grille is supposed to be horizontal bars, the only one of it's kind ever used on a Mustang.

lol on the "fast" .

That's what I read (on the grille) which is why I am concerned. This is what mine looks like...

Bear with me if it doesn't work the first time =)

It looks like someone replaced your original grille with a 65 grille at some point. Is there any signs of crash damage on the radiator support or inner fenders?

Many times if a car is repaired in a typical production body shop and not a restoration shop they don't spend a lot of time straightening out metal that isn't easily seen like inside the wheel wells and floors and trunk floors. The older a car is the less they seem to worry about it because the car is not worth as much. They usually will only straighten them enough to get the basic dimensions of the car back close to where they belong. If this car was in a fender bender at some point when it was considered "just and old car" and nothing special it might have been slapped together either by a body shop or maybe even it's owner and they used whatever 64.5-66 parts they could find at a junkyard or from someone selling parts in a local paper. You can check the radiator support and the inner fenders simply by popping the hood and checking out the engine bay. Look at the panels and see if there is any obvious bending or wrinkling of the metal. If all looks like factory stamped and straight parts then if there was an accident that caused the grille parts to be changed out chances are it wasn't a very hard hit. Putting it back to a 66 grille isn't too hard as far as weekend projects go, you can get the grille and the horse and coral emblem either from a supply house like Mustangs Unlimited or you might find a used restorable setup locally or on Ebay.

IMHO,, I think it looks better with the horizontal bars. I'd keep it the way it is.
It only really matters if you're going to be judged at a concours show anyway.
I'd be really surprised if it hurt the resale value.
