Pony Sport Seat Upholstery HELLLLP

That zip tie idea does sound interesting. The only thing I would be worried about is how long they will last before they become brittle and break. I've had to replace some in my engine bay cause they have dried out and cracked but then again those are exposed to high temperatures. I wonder how they hold up inside a seat.

Good suggestion on the nylon zip ties. Interestingly enough, I started using a few of these just before I noticed your post. Before the use of zip ties on the internal listings, I was making swiss cheese of both my seat buns and my hands with the hog rings. I think I might continue to use the zip ties and then follow up with the strategic placement of a few hog rings.

No need for them afterwards as the nylon will not stretch or break on your seats. You'd be surprised at how strong they are. Used them for foam, listing rods and seat covers. I used a lot.. likely just as many as you'd use hog rings. Also its much easier to cut the ties using a set of End Cutting Pliers as it'll cut close to the zip box. Any hardware/tool store would carry them.

Chaos13,
Go to your local farm/feed store (sometimes Lowes/Home Depot has it) and look for some fence bracing wire. It's galvanized, 12G, and pliable. I used this one time and I had it on hand for my fences. Comes in a roll.
