Default new 65 fastback

I just bought a 65 mustang 2+2 off an old woman who has owned it since 66. She said it was a ford executives car. It is poppy red with white pony interior, A code engine, 4 speed, and has a DSO of 89 which is Transportation Services. I found a brass tag in the door jam with the numbers
V538-20
306T039
11M174
on it. Does anyone know what that tag would be and is this a rare car. What is it worth?

you should have a tag on the door that looks something like this...

Do you think $2750 was a fair price? lol Im working on getting the pictures uploaded but keep getting upload failure from the forum. Aussie I can email them to you if you want to see them. The woman also had a 1979 Mustang Indy pace car 4 cyl turbo, Is it worth anything?

I'm thinking, if it isn't rusted out, $12,750 would probably be a good price!

If it's nice, it might be worth ten grand.
