Default Removing chrome trim from door/quarter glass?

Hey guys, I'm wondering what the best way is to remove the chrome trim around the door glass, vent glass, and quarter glass? Will the glue melt with heat? I am hesitant to try prying as I don't want to break the glass. Thanks

The glass was not glued from the factory, the rubber glass tape is not even sticky. Soak in some penetrating oil or even soap & water just get under the end of the stainless & gently start prying & wiggling, try to save the setting tape for the quarter windows as it is not just straight pieces like the vent & side glass. Someone may have glued a replacement piece but ford did not. The glass setting tape is different thicknesses do a search. I just removed & polished & installed tinted glass in my 68, the original stainless is well worth restoring & can look like new with some patience.
