Looking for a 66 gt conv. Emberglo or??
Hey everyone,
I am looking for a restored 66 gt conv. Emberglo. Will consider other colors, but Emberglo is really what I am after. Definitely want one that has been restored and done right....which is a rare....as I am finding out!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Emberglo is a rare, one-year-only color on the Mustang. Finding a convertible makes it more rare. Finding a GT convertible in Emberglow, even Mr Spock would have trouble calculating the odds.
You may want to consider having one changed to suit your wishes.
I can see why you'd want one:

I have no idea how it works but I "THINK" CJ's Pony Parts has a service that will find a car for you. Give them a call and I may be wrong about this.

Wow, that is a sweet one! Forgot to mention, it doesn't have to be a true GT...which will make my search a little easier. By the way, it's for my father in law, I am into fastbacks with stripes on them...lol

Here's what I do: check craigslist and ebay for a car in the south. I look in Houston, Dallas and Austin. Go down, buy it, drive it back.

ya i would keep checking craigslist and i know their are a couple other strictly muscle car selling sites that are around. Good luck to ya

Emberglo is a great looking color. I agree about it being somewhat difficult to find one. I hardly ever see one that color.

I hate to rain on your parade, but selecting ANY used car based on color is a REALLY bad plan. This causes you to wander WAY away from the three most important criteria in selecting a used car:
condition

CONDITION
I hope you can find the car you want in the color you want, but please proceed cautiously.
